This disease is spread by fleas and direct contact with an infected cat’s bodily fluids. Feline infectious affects the cat’s intestine by causing ulceration. The symptoms of this disease are bloody diarrhea, malnutrition, dehydration, anemia, death, and leukopenia. Kitten are mostly infected by FIE because they have under developing an immune system.

Vitamin supplements should be given, the infected cat must be in strict separation and protective clothing must be worn and hand washes after handling to prevent the disease.
Feline herpes virus (FHV)
FHV is caused by the virus that affects the upper respiratory tract of cats. Stress and other health problem can weaken the immune system and cause this disease. This disease is transmittable and transmits by sharing food bowls or bleeding. Conjunctivitis, sneezing, fever, coughing, lethargy, salivation and nasal discharge can cause this disease. FHV can also cause FHV dermatitis that causes crusty patches, ulcers, and scabs around the cat’s head, face, and forelimbs.

The vet will prescribe antibiotics to treat the risk of a secondary bacterial infection and antiviral therapy to treat FHV.
Feline calici virus (FCV)
FCV is also a virus that affects upper respiratory tracts of cats. This disease is difficult to treat as it is adaptable. If the FCV is highly infectious and resistant than it is known as Virulent System FCV(VS-FCV) and can cause a life-threatening infection. FCV can be spread between cats by direct contact like sharing food bowl and bedding and bitten by an infectious cat. This virus can’t be transferred to humans and only affects domestic cats. The FCV symptom is eye and nasal discharge, fever, ulcers around the mouth, face and claws, lethargy, loss of appetite and pneumonia. VS-FCV may cause arthritis, fever, lameness and multiple organ failures.
Cure For Feline Calici Virus:
FCV vaccination is must but it does not always prevent the disease but can prevent the development of severe disease. If you find that your cat is suffering from FCV then you should immediately take him to the vet. The vet will prescribe antibiotics, immunomodulators, corticosteroids and rehydration therapy. Clean the contaminated areas to prevent the infection with the virus.
Cat Disease and Cure for Feline Leukaemia Virus (FLV)
FLV is the cause of death in cats, along with old age, traffic accidents, and kidney failure. The FLV is the type of cancer called leukemia. This is cause to the cat who is outside. The indoor cats are less infected by this disease. The virus transmits with the blood and fleeces. This virus is transmitted by close contact and sharing foods and beds. This virus only affects cats. It can be also transferred from the mother cat to the kittens. Virus reduces the effectiveness of cat’s immune system. Diarrhea, fever, pale gums, weight loss, sterility, jaundice, anemia, swollen glands and inflammation of mouth and face are the symptoms of Feline Leukaemia virus.
Cure For Feline Leukaemia Virus (FLV):
Vaccination is the preventive measure of FLV. If you think your cat has FLV then you should immediately take him to vet whether they are vaccinated or not. The vet may prescribe immunomodulators to aid the cat’s immune system and other medicines like antibiotics and rehydration therapy to treat them. The house and contaminated area should be cleaned otherwise it will infect the other cats.
Cat Disease and Cure also include Feline Bordetellosis
Feline bordetellosis is caused by a bacterium and affects the upper respiratory tract. It is also referred to a kennel cough as it is common in multi animal’s households or catteries and can transfer between cats, dogs, and humans. It can be transmitted through sneeze and coughs. Coughing, sneezing, fever, nasal discharge, murky eyes, pneumonia, weight loss and breathing difficulties are the symptoms of this disease.
Cure For Feline Bordetellosis:
Vaccination for Bordetella is available for cats but is not effective. An infected cat can do fine without any treatment as their immune system will able to fight off the infection. If your cat has this disease then he should take to vet for a checkup. This disease is easier to treat. The vet may prescribe antibiotics which will fight the infection.
Chlamydophilosis is caused by a bacterium that infects upper respiratory part of the cat. Bacteria live inside the cells. This disease transmits the bacteria with infected cat’s mouth, nose or eye discharge. It also spreads to humans and causes eye infection to us. Swelling and redness around eyes is the symptom of this disease. Breathing difficulties, runny nose, weight loss, loss of appetite, coughing, fever are the other symptoms. This bacteria will infect the mucous membrane that surrounds the eyes.
Cure For Feline Chlamydophilosis:
Vaccination is recommended for catteries or in the areas where the disease has high occurrence. This is because it does not spread easily and easy to treat. If your cat is suffering from feline chlamydophilosis then you should take him to vet as soon as possible. If the bacteria is within the cells then cat’s immune cannot reach the bacteria. The vet will prescribe a longer course of antibiotics that which penetrate inside cells and kill bacteria.
